Holle Bio Stage 2 is an organic cow’s-milk follow-on formula intended from six months onward as part of a mixed diet. It is not designed as a breast-milk substitute during the first six months. Holle presents Stage 2 as a Demeter biodynamic product and includes DHA, alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), vitamin C, and vitamin D in its current formulation.

What defines Holle Cow Stage 2?

This stage marks the transition from first infant formula to follow-on formula. Its listed carbohydrate ingredients include lactose, maltodextrin, and starch, so its composition should not be inferred from the PRE product. Stage 2 is intended to accompany complementary foods after six months, not replace a varied diet. It is not intended for cow’s-milk protein allergy and should not be used to diagnose or manage reflux, colic, constipation, or another medical condition.

Follow the box directions exactly and use only its enclosed scoop. Wash hands and equipment, measure water before powder, prepare each bottle fresh, and discard unfinished formula after feeding. Do not change the concentration or reuse instructions from Stage 1 or Stage 3; scoops and ratios may differ. Powdered formula is not sterile, so observe local public-health recommendations for safe preparation. A pediatrician or qualified health professional should guide formula changes, complementary feeding, and questions about growth or symptoms. PREPARATION GUIDE:

1. Always sterilise bottles, teats, and rings before use. Boil fresh drinking water and allow it to cool to approx. 50°C (122°F).
2. Pour approximately half of the cooled water into the sterilized bottle.
3. Fill the measuring scoop loosely and level it off. Add the required number of scoops (according to the feeding guide) to the water in the bottle.
4. Close the bottle and shake thoroughly until the powder is completely dissolved.
5. Add the remaining half of the cooled water and shake again.
6. Allow to cool to drinking temperature (approx. 37°C / 98.6°F). Test the temperature on your wrist before feeding.

Important Notes: Follow preparation instructions exactly. Use only the provided scoop. Prepare fresh formula for each feeding; do not reuse leftovers. Improper preparation can lead to health problems. Do not heat formula in the microwave (risk of overheating).

FEEDING GUIDE:

Recommended for infants from 6 months onwards. Typically 2-3 servings per day as part of a mixed diet of bottle feeds and weaning foods.
